“Photography 101: Moments”

The moment of excitement @

Calabar Carnival dry run in preparation for 2014 carnival. Nobody know what this year carnival is going to be like. Considering the fact that its also the year preceding general election. Everything seems is all for politics now. Every other thing takes the back seat, we’ll wait to see. It’s just few weeks time

“There Is Price To Pay”

Whatsoever the choice,
Be prepare to pay
The price.

There is something
In return
For another thing.

If you learn
To take, you must
Learn to give or
Atmost learn to give first.

Any change we embark upon
Will definately take something
Else in return
For a balance.

You do not need
To be afraid of it,
It’s all in the change process.

The change we prepare for
Make one to have
A better understanding,

The one unprepared for
Comes like a thief
In the night to demobilize
And demoralize.
The result can be

Weather we’re prepared
Or not, the price is

And the the process
Is painful. One is
Shortlived and the other
Is perpetual.

But the choice!
You must make.
Which one is your preference
Because time is not
On your side?

“Photography 101:Water”

“Omi o loota o ……Water e no get enemy”, water does not have enemy. That’s vintage Abami Eda, Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The late afro beat maestro classic.

You may not live near river, sea or ocean but water you must drink and water you must use to take bath.

Water is life………….you may call it satchet, table or bottled water………..water is life.

“The Profitable Thing”

Profit from your mistakes
The more you fail,
The more you need to try
In so many different ways.

Don’t allow the killer thought
To subdue and derail you.
Absolute failure is from permanent fear
Disallow it.

The key is to keep trying
Again and again.

Never to be discouraged,
The ultimate weapon against discouragement is a strong
Mind of productivity.

“Weekly Photo Challenge:Signs”

Digital neon light billboard errected at the T Junction, Mary Slessor by Calabar roads. Sensitizing on keeping Calabar clean.
This is well said but am afraid that is not the case any longer. Why ? Because there is so much negligence now on the part of official who are failing in their duty to keep Calabar clean and beautiful. This place has lost the touch of being one of the cleanest city in Nigeria.
