“How Time Flies”

It did not occur to me that today makes it three years that I registered my presence to fly with WordPress. What an experience!

I remember it was not easy, but was determined to learn the rope. After few months, was able to set forth.ย  And today, I looked back and I am happy that I have a voice and great support from platform that house sixty percent of global blogs. Big thanks also to successful bloggers and up and coming alike who had and continue to support keempres.com.

“Back To The Bridge Of Connectivity”

Bridge across four lane in Uyo,  Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.

For several weeks that I had been on forced leave over my inability to blog, not because of unavailability of data. But my new phone constantly restoring itself to Zain Nigeria (old name) instead of Airtel Nigeria for data connectivity.  Today, I finally solved the puzzle. Glad to be back on track. Not too techie has its disadvantage.

“25% Of The Internet:Big Feat”

Few years back when I went into this, I did not really know how it would go. But WordPress had been there and is still very is. For fresh bloggers, all what they need is to be ready to learn in-house. With that nothing will stop them from flying. Individual blogger have issues. But me, I have a good story to tell about  WordPress. Thanks to WordPress and all the bloggers that have made this experience worthwhile.

“WordPress:Giving Voice To The Voiceless”

“Writing 101, Day Nineteen: Don’t Stop The Rockin’ “

All road lead to the digital world………

Today is a free writing day. Write at least four hundred words and once you start, don’t stop, no-self editing, no trash-talking and no secong guessing, just go.

What can we say of our world today. It has actually gone towards a direction, digitally unbelievably. Thanks to to scientist who then worked their life to frenzy and was able to deliever to the world something so tangible and very benefitting to mankind

What the world would have been without this digital phonemenon. There wouldn’t have been what we today called digital village. Neither would there have been close interactive ass we know it today.

No hand shaking across the ocean or shoulder rubbing, not to talk of holding one another hand by hand. The journey that started less than three decades had been so transforming across board. It has drastically change the way everything runs on planet earth. Such as the way we relate with ourselve as human being, the way we relate with our enviroment, and other living things such as animals.

We all had been towing the line in unison and it had created a divide digitally. You just have to be up abd doing, strive constantly to catch up if you are lacking in acquiring the digital knowledge which had become a must for you to be globally relevant today and the future. If you are not just there, you are not there at all.

Because of its origination. The western world gain digital momentum so rapidly within the space of ten years. Something that started like nothing witness phenomenon growth at ration of between 300-500% within first five years. While on this side of the world. Africa because of our easy have it nature and lack of researching lifestyle were still basking in our usual lifestyle not knowing that the tide has changed.

Nigeria for example were using analogue telephone landline till late nineteen nineties. We actually got GSM operation by 2001 or thereabout. When the GSM came, initialyy people thought it was all abouljust making voice call. But as the service provider settles more into the the business with several upgrading facilities! They started rolling out other services that had not only add value to life but had also improve their economic well being.

When the idea of making money got here, it was the swindlers that first got it, and they bastardise it to the detriment of genuine others who just want to be legitimate in all their doing. For example, Paypal does not do business with Nigeria. I honestly hope they’ll change their mind. Sometime I wonder if you can make legitimate money online, why go dubious? They are always in a hurry to make money forgetting that easy comes, easy goes.

The conclusive part of this post is that internet the way I see it had been and is still a blessing to mankind. Whichevr way you look at it. I know whatever has advantage does have disadvantage, but the undisputable fact is that internet nas made the world a better place. Mankind a better being void of any limitation. Isn’t that so? Afterall it afford me to related with you and learning from everyone and everywhere. It has made my life better than it used to be. I think I’ll always be grateful for that and the entire blogging community including our host platform. WordPress and its entire systemn.

“Writing 101, Day Four: Serial Killer”

It is amazing how time flies. We all know money could be recouped but time lost, definately could not be regained. If lost, gone forever. Life has a way of dealing with each and everyone of us in a diffferent way. Biblically, one would not say father Abraham waisted his time. Far from it. He had to wait working patiently to connect to the promise. Which took a while to materialise.

What can we say of today? We all strive, no matter how smartly or otherwise. If it’s not yet your time, you may need extra grace of patience to keep yourself going in the same direction. Certainly you must be aware of the fact that the path is promising but if for any reason you feel otherwise, then you need to reapraise the possibility of making success of that endeavor.

That is why one has to be objective at all time and be open to new possibilities. Most of the bloggers and writer are motivators but it’s not as if they don’t have challenge. But they simple hold on till the time things get better. And that’s what we keep saying that things would definately change for better with time. Happy blogging.

“Why I Write Blog: The Great Expectation”

All my life I had invested great passion and time to my first love- fashion designing. This span close to thirty years of my life. My expectation then was success that will make me outstandingly wealthy. Later in years, I realised that it’s one thing to be a gifted artist but another thing to be a real businessman. My all encompassing creativity in such area… textile, embroidery, african attire making with its accessories: cap and shoe, head tie, shoe, bag and shawl for ladies. Seminar bags, mouphla. Everything around fashion am there. I do flags as well.

I hope and hope to get there. The closer i am, then something pulls it further. From 1- 10- 20 years plus, close to 30. I deliberately separated myself when it look like I need special hand of God in my situation. One thing I had never done and will never do is to ask God why? It is too big a question for me. At every stage of those terrible disappointments, I always give Him thanks for keep me going.

As I advance in number(age), I keep open mind looking for legitimate opportunity. One great thing I desire from when I was even young is to be a global brand. I thought fashion would take me there. Despite many failure to achieve that prior to now. The focus is intact.

August ’12. A sister, friend, leader in FLP. A Diamond Manager with the husband wheel-barrowed me into Forever Living Products network marketing business. She did the unusual, buys in my name to elevate me to the next level of supervisor without doing anything or knowing how to go about it. I eventually sign on two person, they too could not make any headway. Instead of given up, I started lookin for a way out. Went after life story of leading FLP managers. First Kim Madsen, a Dutch Diamond Manager and then the topmost FLP Manager Rolf Kipp, a German Double Diamond Manager. His statement that if he has to start all over again, he will go online. That statement influence me greatly. Prior to that I had attended a seminar on creating blog and how to monetize it. There was no tools in place to start then.

But today by grace, taking small step at a time. I am a blogger on the run of life. Blogging got all of me because of what it offers:- freedom, lifestyle, travellin, adding value to others, giving me a voice globally, getting knowledge on daily basis and so much more.
I have lived in Calabar for the past seven years, kind of being closed up. Thats even the reason for lack of prospect yet am not an introvert. But eventually, I stepped out of my comfort zone and damn the consequence. Breaking the bridge after the cross over. There would be no retreat and no surrender.
Am on a platform of blogosphere and am sure it is a new day of fulfillment.ย

“Unending Journey:Blogging”

Image: wordpress logo.

Blogging is a lifetime journey. It has no ending, no specify condition that would make you retire from it unless you just let go. It takes you as far as you can go and your ability to learn very fast from other bloggers you interact with, is a strong factor for your growth even if you’re yet to belong to any blogging community.

Being consistent with quality post will bring you closer to leading bloggers, some of which form your early readers. Who will be willing to give you a helping hand. Blogosphere is not a place for bragging but a platform to exhibit humility. Because of the fact that there is more to know than what is already known, we must show serious desire to learn from every blogger. Reason being that there are bloggers who are more experienced, yet with great humility. I have been privileged to meet large number of such and I make sure am very attentive to their words and their ability to appreciate your like, comment, follow and reblogging. I personally feel blogging is a game of number but another school of thougth argue otherwise.

The bigger your traffic, the more your audience and business opportunity. Every like, comment and follow is an action performed by human being. By your niche and consistency, readers should know what to expect from you and it has to be quality and not quantity content. So, we all need to learn to keep abreast to gain deep acceptance. As one become known, focus must be maintained not to loose track. What matter most is the level of interaction that is maintained with fellow bloggers.

Popularity is how lots of people relate with your post. Engagement is how many people care enough whether they agree or disagree to actually respond to your content.
The goal is figuring out what it is that make people follow your blog. What type of post they enjoy reading most. To stick by it and improve on it.

WordPress platform is great with plugins and technical assistance to make your blog journey easier, eventful and result oriented. Happy blog life.
